Opened as the first luxury hotel in the Goto archipelago, Hotel Sou was designed by Suppose Design Office led by two Architects Makoto Tanijiri and Ai Yoshida, who are active all over the world. It was built with the concept of “coexistence and harmony” as if the interior was outdoors.
Similar to the “Hidden Christian Sites in Nagasaki and Amakusa Region” that was registered as a World Heritage Location two years ago, Hotel Sou is also a place to invite the people of “Prayer Island” to a rich natural journey with deep faith and history that we would like to introduce it to the whole world.

AirHost: How did you find out about us?
Hotel Sou: I was introduced to AirHost through an acquaintance who contacted me and shared the story of AirHost’s system and the services provided. The conversation went well and got me interested.

AirHost: Please tell us the reason why you decided to outsource the business to our AirHost operation agency.
Hotel Sou: The deciding factor was that you could consistently perform the tasks necessary for hotel operation [from start-up to operation], from creating listings, creating booklets for guests, attracting customers, managing reservations, and building systems.

AirHost: What is the effect of the local check-in flow with this new coronavirus in town?
Hotel Sou: Currently, unmanned check-in / check-out is carried out using AirHost check-in tablet + [IoT smart lock] Keyvox, hotel guests and staff do not meet face-to-face, so it is safe to prevent spreading of infection with the new coronavirus. It can be used to create a safe site.
Hotel Sou: Guests have also commented that there is no stress of check-in / out.
